In this dream, I saw the ring exactly as it is now — with its distinctive black domed stone — and I distinctly heard the words 'Apple of my eye'. Upon waking, I delved into the Bible, elated to discover this phrase echoed in several passages.
Meaning
The phrase "Apple of my Eye" resonates with Psalms 17:8: "Keep me as the apple of your eye; shelter me in the shadow of your wings." It's also found in Zechariah 2:8.
In this context, the "apple" often alludes to the pupil, an invaluable and delicate part of our anatomy. To request someone to "keep me as the apple of your eye" is essentially seeking their utmost affection, regard, and protection.
